Aboriginal Flag printed on poly woven
The Aboriginal flag is screen dyed on a poly woven fabric suitable for indoor and out door use, finished with loops either end. If you require a different finishing or sister clips to be added , please let us know and we can make the necessary changes.
The symbolic meaning of the flag colours (as stated by Harold Thomas) is: Black – represents the Aboriginal people of Australia. Yellow circle – represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector. Red – represents the red earth, the red ochre used in ceremonies and Aboriginal peoples' spiritual relation to the land. Flag Adopted: 4 July 1995 (in use since 12 July 1971) Flag Proportion: 2:3.
